Description
MidFirst Bank is excited to offer a Summer Internship Program for motivated individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in the banking industry. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on meaningful projects, develop essential skills, and contribute to the success of MidFirst Bank.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily operations in various banking departments, including but not limited to, retail banking, finance, marketing, and risk management.
- Conduct research and analysis to support decision-making processes and contribute to ongoing projects.
- Provide support in customer service, including assisting with inquiries and problem resolution.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Assist in preparing financial reports, presentations, and other documentation.
- Participate in training sessions and networking events to enhance knowledge of the banking industry.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of internal processes and procedures.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program with a focus on business, finance, marketing, or a related field.
- Strong academic record and a genuine interest in the banking and financial services industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
Experience
Previous coursework or experience in business, finance, marketing, or banking is preferred but not required.
