Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of policies, programs, and initiatives within the Department's various bureaus.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of public outreach, education, and engagement efforts.
  • Provide assistance in legal and regulatory compliance activities within the Department.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on conservation and land management projects.
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, and training sessions to enhance knowledge of public administration and resource management.
  • Engage with stakeholders and community members to foster partnerships and communication.
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a graduate program with a focus on environmental science, public administration, law, natural resource management, or a related field.
  • Strong academic record and a genuine interest in public service and resource conservation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to environmental stewardship and public service.
Experience

Previous coursework or experience in environmental science, public administration, or related fields is preferred but not required.
