Description
Fort Myers Airport is excited to announce openings for its Summer Internship Program in 2024. This internship provides a unique opportunity for students to gain valuable experience in the aviation industry, contributing to the success and operations of Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW).
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with airport staff in various departments, including Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Service.
- Assist with project management, data analysis, and report preparation.
- Participate in airport planning, events, and community outreach initiatives.
- Gain exposure to airport security protocols and regulations.
- Shadow professionals in day-to-day operations and special projects.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
- Pursuing a degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong academic performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Experience
- Previous internship or work experience in aviation or a related field is preferred but not required.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
