Orlando International Airport is thrilled to announce the Summer Internship Program for 2024, providing students with a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic and fast-paced aviation industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist in daily operations within various airport departments.
- Collaborate on special projects, events, and initiatives.
- Participate in meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
- Shadow and work alongside experienced professionals.
- Contribute to the development of reports and presentations.
- Provide support in areas such as customer service, logistics, and airport security.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
- Pursuing a degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong academic record and a passion for the aviation industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience
- Previous coursework or exposure to aviation-related subjects is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with airport operations is advantageous.
Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
